The Weidmuller UR20-16DI-P is a slim 16-channel PNP digital input remote I/O module designed for decentralized industrial automation signal acquisition, belonging to the universal u-remote modular I/O platform. The suffix -P stands for PNP positive switching logic, compatible with Type 1 & Type 3 standard proximity sensors per EN 61131-2.
This ultra-narrow 11.5mm width module adopts push-in spring terminal wiring without screwdrivers, supporting single-conductor sensor connection. Built-in 3ms hardware input filter suppresses on-site electromagnetic interference and switch bounce signals. 500VDC galvanic isolation separates field sensor circuits and internal system bus to avoid ground loop crosstalk. Integrated reverse polarity protection prevents permanent damage from reversed 24VDC wiring.
